The itineraries of the Gold, Silver, and Bronze packages are identical in terms of activities and visits in the heart of Asturias. They differ only in the level and experience of accommodation.

Guests selecting the Gold Accommodation Package will relax in the region’s most beautiful and exclusive accommodations: former palaces converted into boutique hotels and award-winning accommodations featuring spas and gastronomic experiences.

Silver accommodations are well-located and equipped rural hotels and focus on an optimal quality-price ratio.

Bronze accommodations are well-equipped rural houses focusing on Asturian hospitality and more intimate experiences.

Although all our trips are, this option is for those always looking for extra power in their routes and activities.

Family-friendly

If you are traveling with your family, it is straightforward for us to adapt the routes, visits, and activities to the level of the little ones. We have tried it with our children!

Gastro

. In Asturias, you always eat well. That’s why we give you the freedom to choose where to dine. But if you check this option, we will ensure that you go to the best restaurants in the area.

I exercise pretty regularly and do not tire quickly.

Comfort Hiker

I am used to walks on easy and marked mountain paths of up to 5 km and 300 m of accumulated elevation gain.

Seasoned hiker

I am used to hiking trails of up to 12 km and 600 m of accumulated elevation gain.

Mountaineer

I am used to alpine terrain, I have notions of orientation and safety in the mountains and I can face journeys of up to 20 km and 1000 m of cumulative unevenness.

Mountain guides

Although the mountain hiking routes are generally easy and affordable for all levels with a minimum of previous experience and physical fitness, Exploring Spain has qualified high and medium mountain guides who can accompany you on your routes through the mountains in the heart of Asturias.

Bivouac Experience

Can you imagine what it would be like to spend a night outdoors in the middle of the mountains of Somiedo? A night experience of mountains, sky, and stars. You will have at your disposal: a bag, bivouac cover, inflatable mattress, mat, pillow, and sheet. And we will have binoculars and spotting scopes for wildlife observation, and we will teach you how to use them. Dinner and breakfast are, of course, included.

Horseback riding

Although the horseback riding routes of our itinerary are always guided, we can adapt their lenght and intensity depending on your previous riding experience.

At a walk

I have never ridden a horse before, or only on rare occasions, and always simple and leisurely rides.

Trotting

I have done several guided rides, some lasting several hours and on varied terrains.

At the gallop

I am a real rider. I am used to riding, and I can even afford to gallop in some sections that are not complicated.
